Thinking about earning the CMA Credential?   Certified Management Accountant information.   You exam success will depend upon factors including your learning style and self discipline.  Some people like scheduled classes to help them maintain a study schedule.  Others prefer unstructured study programs because of job travel requirements or other demands which make attending a formal course difficult.  Fortunately there are opportunities to fit your specific needs

CMA Self Study Courses 

These self study courses offer a wide variety of vendors.  The type, methods and cost varies.  

If you already hold a professional certification (CPA, CIA, CFP) some of taking these review courses may qualify as continuing education for one or more of your other certificates.  CPAs holding Florida certificates can earn CPE from QAS qualified on-line self study courses.  Some of these CMA courses are QAS approved.  For examples,  Rigos.  Each course (either Part I or Part II) is $180 and has qualified for 20 hours of QAS approved CPE!!!!!  That's $9 per credit hour!!! However, if the study materials offered by this company don't align with your learning style, then keep shopping!

If you are unemployed or for whatever reason you are a client of a OneStopCenter, you might qualify to have CMA Review Courses and/or CMA Exam Registration Fees paid by the State of Florida.  For example, click on the "Financial Aid" link on the USF Flyer.  The UNF Flyer references "Workforce Florida, Inc." in the lower left hand corner.  If you are going to attempt to get funding for one of these instructor led courses, you might want to print out the flyer and take it with you to help in case you encounter any red tape.
